The challange
Klikkmania started to work together with Elter.hu, a Hungarian based Online Lighting Shop and wholesale a couple of years ago, where the initial goal was to make the brand well-known and gradually raise the revenue across all of their channels with the help of Google Ads campaigns.
The approach
During this period, Klikkmania has tested relevant new functions in Google Ads and took advantage of machine learning techniques and automation eligible across the system.
We used various campaign types like DSA, RLSA, Smart Display campaign combined with Dynamic remarketing feed based campaigns.
The use of Google Ads scripts helped in monitoring the campaign and find out new ways for expansion. Auction insights script helped us optimize the campaign efficiency connected to competitor’s behaviour and gave deep insights of ways for growing impression share. Broken URL Checker ensured that ads final URL don’t lead to 404 pages. Word Association Script helped in finding potentially useful key phrases for additional expansions and strengthening the negative keywords strategy in play. Focusing on the whole buyer’s journey process by making tests of smart new user acquisi tion strategies, combining and testing different combinations of audience types and strong dynamic remarketing and RLSA campaigns yield bottom-line results significantly.
The results
By comparing 2018 results with 2017, Brand campaigns revenue increased by 90% and the traffic coming from brand campaign increased by 70,48%. The overall Google Ads revenue increased by 33,76% and there were 37,53% more sessions YoY coming from Google Ads campaign.
